All classes are 6 weeks unless otherwise noted. This means: 1 hr, each week, same time and place for 6 weeks.

Baby Steps
Why do we have two puppy classes? Because not every puppy owner has the same goals in mind! Baby steps is specifically designed for our Sport puppies in the making. This class will train the mandatory basics such as sit, down, come when called, but also we work on early body awareness, we work on toy play, we work on foundation skills for offered engagement and more!

Relationship and Engagement

Agility 101
Have you ever seen those obstacle courses with amazingly smart and fast dogs zooming around them and wondered, Can my dog do that? The answer is absolutely yes! Walk with Me
This class is our most popular specialty class. This class covers specifically the ever challenging walk! How do we get our pups to engage with us and not pull on walks?
This class has no prerequisites, but we do recommend this class for dogs over 9 months, if your pup is younger than this, we recommend our puppy classes.

Weekly Brush up
Are you a regular student of ours? Has your pup done a board and train with us? Join us for a weekly brush up!
This is a proofing class which takes place first at our property in Canby then out and about in the community. This class is only available to our current students.
This class is FREE for the first session for B&T (camp) graduates!

Life Skills 101
This class is our version of basic obedience! This class covers the old classics such as Sit, Down, Come when called, but we also cover the modern necessities such as grooming tolerance, cafe skills, sport foundation allowances, and more.
This class has no prerequisites, but we do recommend this class for dogs over 9 months, if your pup is younger than this, we recommend our puppy classes.
This class is a great prerequisite to CGC.

Life Skills 201
This class is our version of intermediate obedience! This class covers the old classics such as holding your Sit and Down or Coming when called past distractions, but we also cover the modern necessities such as introducing social skills, tricks that make life with a dog more fulfilling and fun, and cover problem solving that we often see pop up after our clients say, “but he knows all of those behaviors, he’s just stubborn when out and about.”
This class has Life Skills 101 as a prerequisite.
This class is a great building block towards your CGC or practice AFTER your dog graduates Reactive Rover.

Community Canine
Introducing our crowning achievement – a training experience designed to address the "what's next?" phase. Join us weekly alongside our instructor and a group of like-minded dog enthusiasts. This class ventures to parks, markets, cafes, and dog-friendly stores. Together, you'll explore and enhance practical handling and obedience for real-world scenarios. Limited to a maximum of 8 committed dog and handler teams. Prerequisite skills for your dog include the fundamentals:

Recall with distractions
Stay with distance and distractions
Need assistance in honing these skills in a controlled environment? Our Life Skills 101 and 201 courses are available for enrollment.
We recommend this class for our more experienced students only, please contact us for any questions. Please understand that this program isn't tailored for teams dealing with reactivity issues. For those seeking guidance in managing & reducing reactivity, our dedicated Reactive Rover class is available.

Reactive Rover 101
Does your dog get REALLY EXCITED when they see other dogs or people? Do they struggle with maintaining obedience? Do they vocalize and jump? Are you unable to attend other programs because your pup is “out of control”?
This is the class for you!
We start week 1 with several mini lessons, working on the mandatory basics. Each subsequent week we build on these exercises and introduce your pup to more and more challenging distractions while setting you and your pup up for success. We have been offering this class for a decade now and it is extremely successful. Contact us for success stories or questions.
