ADRIANNE STEIMONTS
She/Her. My name is Adrianne Steimonts and I am the co-owner and founder of Harmony Canine Training. This life is something I dreamt about my entire life. As a kid I would obsess over dog breed books, spend every second I could learning from every dog trainer I had access to, and sketch kennel designs that would better what was being offered year after year.
When I was just a teenager I began working in the dog industry and paid my dues. I cleaned kennels, worked under mentors in the security dog industry, show dog world, and agility world. I found my first and everlasting passion in terriers, eventually making my way into pit bull rescue when I went to college. I learned so much about dog aggression, prey drive, and working with the dog instead of attempting to squash and control the dog in these years.
As my now husband and I began to find our passions in dog sports we found Malinois and it was “all over”. We were hooked. We found our way into Schutzhund (IGP) and quickly made our way from there.
I have now been on more than a dozen podiums and represented the USA overseas multiple times. We actively title and compete with our dogs in multiple obedience and bitework sports but most importantly these dogs are our entire world. They live in our home and help us raise our two young children. Through this experience, both on and off the field, we have become extremely talented and well versed in balancing drives and various nerve sets in all dogs from pets to champions.
My long standing and current passion is both the foundations board and train as well as the behavior modification board and train.
I’m looking forward to helping you and your family with any of your needs!

Matt
He/Him. Matt has been training dogs professionally since 2014. During his career, he has worked with dogs of all skill levels to learn anything from basic pet skills to competitive foundations and working aptitude for dog powered sports. He loves getting to work with puppies to help them start off with the right foundations to have a successful performance career, or just learn how to build skills to give the dog a job for mental and physical enrichment. In addition to training dogs, Matt has also worked with a sled dog tour kennel and has helped retired working dogs transition to a relaxing life on the couch, and has volunteered with local rescues. He competes in AKC conformation and sports with his Alaskan Malamute. His passion is working with northern breeds, and helping people find ways to participate in recreational dog powered sports.
Matt is a current American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen evaluator, Trick Dog evaluator, Temperament Test judge, and member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. He is working on completing his Certified Dog Trainer with the IACP in 2023.
